Positivity 101: The Everyday Happiness Training
Our Positivity 101: The Everyday Happiness Training provides you exactly with what it says in the title. Backed by decades of Positive Psychology research, we learn to understand what makes us happy (and what doesn’t.) We learn habits you can put into your everyday life to live happier. And we do various exercises that helps you make these habits yours before you graduate your happiness class and go on to live a very positive life.
Purpose: Design Your Meaningful Life Training
If you, like everyone else, ever struggled or are struggling to pin down exactly you want out of life. Or if you sometimes feel that you’re wandering around this world aimlessly. If you want to understand what your next 1 – 5 – 10 years should look like, then this is the training for you. In just 3 hours, we will learn about what does and doesn’t provide meaning in life. Through interactive exercises we will begin to define what matters to us most. And what our strengths are. You will walk away with your very own “ikigai”: a reason to get up in the morning.
Life Goals: Developing and Understanding your Goals and Personal Development Plan Training
Whether you took our previous courses or you are specifically interested in creating a concrete development plan – welcome! By setting your goals and creating a personal learning plan, you’ll not only know what’s important to you in your life, but actively work towards it. In this course, we’ll really get to work, with a personal balance sheet, goal setting, and the development of a personal board of directors.
Life Coaching: Step-by-step motivation to reach your life goals
Once you have identified your purpose and goals, it’s important to keep actively working towards your potential. In this part of the happiness journey, it’s really up to you, but we will support you throughout.
Not only check in on how you’re doing, but also learning together whether those goals you set were the right ones. And what obstacles you’re facing and how to overcome them along the way. Finally, we’ll work together to understand what you need to do next to keep progressing.
If you’ve covered the happiness basics, or if you’re interested in one specific topic, you’re very welcome to join our specializations. These are focused trainings in which we zone in on one specific topic.

About Bright Happiness Trainings
Bright Happiness Trainings are workshops that focus on learning how to live a happy life. We take the principles of Positive Psychology and Life Coaching and teach happiness basics, life purpose, goal setting and personal development planning. Who facilitates these trainings?
The trainings are led by Bright’s founder Daan van Rossum. He has been researching happiness in Vietnam for years and is hosting these workshops in order to share his learnings, and help you progress on your journey to happiness. From learning the basics of happiness, to understanding your life purpose and developing a personal growth plan.
Where are the trainings being held?
You can find Bright in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City on the second floor of 42 Tran Cao Van (above Phuc Long Coffee.) Our cosy workshop space is dedicated for our smaller group sessions.
For larger groups, we work with a training facility partner. And for corporate and dedicated group trainings, we can either host them in our locations or yours.
Are the trainings in English or Vietnamese?
Our workshops are in English, however, if the group composition requires it, they can be supplemented in Vietnamese by one of Bright’s teaching assistants.
How big are the groups?
The happiness workshop groups can run from just around 5-10 people if you book directly with us. For group trainings & corporate trainings the size can be up to 50+ people. If you have a preference, you can always let us know!
